Power Ranger Pop Art by MingjueChen

"Some less serious stuff, recently I’ve been through this whole nostalgia trip with stuff I grew up with. Who could leave out Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!?" - MingjueChen

I like the body proportion of each one. The body shape can already introduce their characters.

The Art of Geometry

FOLDS is a beautiful installation by David Mesguich and Valentin Van der Meulen that first appeared in 2009 at Maison des Arts de Malakoff, and again in 2010 at Art Paris 2010. The piece is made from numerous polypropylene shapes and creates a somewhat haunting anatomical amalgam of face and skull.

Logo Design Evolutions

Restructuring within a company is inevitable. Over time the policies and image that once held for the core and bulk of your business will have to give way in order for commerce to grow. It is a sign that has been a firm indicator of how a company is functioning, and failing to evolve and expand seems to always equal a slow death in the business world. That doesn’t mean that these changes are huge, and often they will only be tiny shifts, barely noticeable by even those in the company itself. A great example of this is with custom logo design.

"Gatchaman" Live-Action Movie Suits on display in Shibuya, Tokyo

"To advertise the upcoming release of the Gatchaman movie, Toho has the newly designed team’s suits out in public display in Shibuya, Tokyo.

If you are in Tokyo any time soon, you can go see them outside the 109 Men’s department store building in Shibuya, located a two minute walk from the train station. "

To be frank, I really don't like the Suit design, it looks like cheap and not Gatchaman to me, all the iconic bird features are gone! why?
