Plot of Brave:
The rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland serve as the backdrop for Brave, a new tale that joins the lands ancient lore, stories of epic battles and mystical legends passed down for generations. Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and produced by Katherine Sarafian, Brave is the grand adventure of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer who confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts to discover the true meaning of courage. The film also features the voices of Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane. Brave, full of heart, memorable characters and Pixar’s signature humor, takes aim at theaters on June 22, 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters.

" Disney/Pixar just released this brand new piece of concept art from Brave recntly.

Studio 4°C Thundercats Promo Image!

Warner Bros. Animation has just released a official image of upcoming animated series ThunderCats remake which will premiere on Cartoon Network later this year. In this new photo below, which features Lion-O, Tigra, Panthro, and Cheetara.


Studio 4°C had involved with numerous projects such as Detroit Metal City, and Spriggan. More recently, The Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knight.

Thundercats is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and The Bold). Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) are the producers.

Gatchaman OVA Series on Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll has acquired rights from Fireworks International for the North American digital distribution of the 1994 Gatchaman OVA series. The 3 episode series was initially released on American home video in 1997 by Urban Vision. The series will be available for free online viewing and commercial download on the Crunchyroll website beginning this month.

“We are excited and proud to work with Fireworks International and Harmony Gold on this project. Not only do we bring all three (3) episodes of this legendary anime to the public, but we will also be providing an additional gift of free virtual ‘badges’ for people who purchase the download” states Kun Gao CEO and President of Crunchyroll. Gao continues with “we are very pleased to bring another amazing anime series from one of the main pioneers of the anime industry-Tatsunoko Productions.”

Fireworks International Senior Vice-President of Digital Acquisitions and Distribution Jonathan Ford commented, “Crunchyroll is an ideal platform for the re-launch of the classic GATCHAMAN™ title in July. We are excited to bring this title to the Crunchyroll community where the viewers can watch and enjoy this title online in outstanding quality.”

The three (3) episodes are entitled The Dragon King, The Red Specter and The Final Countdown. Fans are encouraged to go online on July 2nd and join the 5 brave young teens (Ken, Joe, Jun, Jinpei and Ryu) as they attempt to foil evil and save the Earth.

GATCHAMAN™ (1994; 144 minutes; Three (3) 48 min. episodes, unrated) is directed by Hiroyuki Fukushima, written by Akihiko Nishiyama, character designed by Yasuomi Umezu and produced by Tatsunoko Productions.

Sonic: Night of the Werehog Short Movie

This Animated short was created by Sega Sammy VE animation in 2008, and the studio now is called Marza Animation Planet. Currently the studio is making another Cg animated feature addaptoing the famous anime Space Pirate Captain Harlock. The animation quality is very high, i am looking forward to see their new movie in 2012.
