DC ENTERTAINMENT DECLARES JULY 23: BATMAN DAY

"In celebration of Batman’s 75^th anniversary, DC Entertainment is partnering with thousands of comic book retailers and bookstores across the nation to celebrate “Batman Day” on Wednesday, July 23. As part of the festivities, fans who visit participating retailers receive a free, special edition of DETECTIVE COMICS #27, featuring a reimagining of Batman’s 1939 comic book debut, designed by Chip Kidd with a script by The New York Times #1 bestselling author Brad Meltzer.
In addition to the comic book, DC Entertainment is providing retailers access to an assortment of other collectibles to help in the celebration of “Batman Day” including a Batman 75^th anniversary cape, bookmarks featuring essential Batman graphic novels and four Batman masks designed by comic book artist Ryan Sook spotlighting a variety of the character’s iconic looks from his 75-year history."

August 6, 2007 - Thanks to a helpful break in the news from Batman fansite, www.batman-on-film.com, a press release is circling the internet regarding an upcoming companion piece to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It's an anime flick, currently titled Batman Anime (which, of course, won't stick for long) that takes place between the two movies, introducing characters and other plot developments before they appear in the upcoming Christian Bale blockbuster. It will feature the talents of Academy Award-nominee Jake Olsen (A History of Violence), Batman Begins screenwriter David Goyer, and comic book writer Brian Azzarello, among others. It's currently slated for a PG-13 rating to aim at the more mature series that Christopher Nolan has put together. Expect it to drop a few weeks prior to The Dark Knight.

Batman: Gotham Knight Sneak Peek Preview

"Batman: Gotham Knight is a 2008 animated direct-to-DVD anthology film of six animated short films set in-between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It is the third in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line released by Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation. Directed by Bruce Timm, co-creator and producer of Batman: The Animated Series, the film's six segments are written by Josh Olson, David Goyer, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Jordan Goldberg, and Alan Burnett. Each segment has its own writing and artistic style, just as numerous artists work in the same DC Universe. Deadshot, Killer Croc, and the Scarecrow have all been confirmed to appear in the film. Also, a trailer for the film features a creature that look like giant bat, possibly Man-Bat." [wiki]

Further Details: Warner Home Video has officially announced 1-disc ($24.98) and 2-disc ($29.98) releases of Batman: Gotham Knight in which six interlocking stories reveal how Bruce Wayne became Batman. The film will be released to coincide with the theatrical release of The Dark Knight, on the 8th July. The full details have yet to be revealed, although we can confirm that the 2-disc release will include an audio commentary, a documentary, featurettes, and a sneak peak at the upcoming Wonder Woman film. A Blu-ray release will also be available for $34.99 with all of the 2-disc features.
BTW, when will we have Region 3 DVD ??

Studio 4°C Thundercats Promo Image!

Warner Bros. Animation has just released a official image of upcoming animated series ThunderCats remake which will premiere on Cartoon Network later this year. In this new photo below, which features Lion-O, Tigra, Panthro, and Cheetara.


Studio 4°C had involved with numerous projects such as Detroit Metal City, and Spriggan. More recently, The Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knight.

Thundercats is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and The Bold). Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) are the producers.

由於公司發展的需要，緊密合作了二年的「工作伙伴」終於都要返回美國。所謂的「工作伙伴」不僅是天天見一起工作的同事而已，而是理念相若、可以坦誠地交流意見、互補不足、互相扶助、有著深厚的默契……so called "WORK-WIFE"
雖然往後透過視像電視還是會天天見的，如常的緊密電郵來往，但總不能像以往般，閒時可以一起打籃球、砍砍酒、吹吹水……感覺是怪怪的。
就好像Batman離開了Goham City，留下了Robin一樣沒有Batman在旁的Robin，之後會變成Nightwing嗎?
