CJ7 《長江七號愛地球》

Stephen Chow's first animation movie (2D) of CJ7《長江七號愛地球》for China market was released recently (not in HK). The story is new and different from the live action movie, but the characters and humor style are the simillar. Directed by To Yuen.

a report form Gigazine about special flight from Tokyo (Haneda) to Osaka (Itami) which was the maiden flight of All Nippon Airways (ANA)'s ANA x Gundam Sky Project yesterday (July 16th).

New Gatchaman Clips

This is so called the "latest Gatchaman trailer" which was done before Imagi shut down... It's the about how Gatchaman fight the Giant Mecha. It was just found from new imagi website. The lighting seems not a finished version and i am quite understand why this trailer was showed in this moment.

六款將會在書展送出的人物造型書籤。人物造型的插圖是和《狼派英雄繪卷》小畫冊中相同的。從十四款造型選了其中六款來設計書籤。其他的人物包括：何自聖、 練飛虹、圓性、桂丹雷、江雲瀾、錫昭屏、錫曉巖、樊宗。

A set of 6 hero character bookmark will be the give away souvenir for upcoming BookFair. These images are same as the leaflet inside, 6 out of 14 was picked for the bookmark.

【Sanger y Acero】 ACG Project

It's time to give my friends here a quick update on what I'd been doing after leaving Imagi Studios. I joined a new studio called Unicorn Studios which was set up in the beginning of 2010 by former founder and chairman of IMAGI, Francis Kao. Unicorn plans to develop transmedia entertainment properties spanning the worlds of graphic novels, comics, video games, and animation. Its first creative undertaking is based on a series of martial arts novels called Sanger y Acero (武 道狂之詩 or Blood and Steel) from acclaimed Hong Kong author Jozev (喬 靖夫). So I and my team has been working on the characters design and comic development for the Novel in the last few months. I am a BIG FAN of Jozev (Yes, I am!!) since long long time ago, I always like to draw and visualize the cool characters from his novel. To develop the characters and comic are challenging tasks, yet the process is so enjoyable and we are having a lots of fun. I will share more with you here in the future.

The comic is still under development and production- as we always want to make it better- it might take a bit more time before meeting the readers. Although the release date is still to be determine, we will revil some of the charactes design and give away souvenirs (poster, leaflet, Bookmarks) in the upcoming HK Bookfairs. Here is the sneak peek of the leaflet.

BTW, The Unicorn Studios Official Website is still under development, it will coming soon. I will post more artworks in the next few days.

Sangre y Acero - ACG Project

I am not quite sure friends from oversea has seen this before or not.《Sangre Y Acero》(武道狂之詩 or Blood and Steel) is SUPER COOL novel in Hong Kong. This is my favorite novel which is written by my friend Jozev, a very talent creator who is a devoted practitioner of martial arts. His depth of personal experience is woven into the vivid depictions of fighting scenes which have become trademarks of his novels.

Set in the ancient Chinese martial arts world, Sanger Y Acero has redefined the modern Kung Fu novel, replacing conventional good-vs.-evil conflicts with a more interesting and complex world where characters are deeply ambivalent and the science of martial arts can be subverted by good as well as evil. Plots are advanced by shifting alliances, adversaries, and perspectives.

Plots
The story begins with an eradication of Qingcheng by a group of martial art fanatic from Wudong, whose master and disciples only has one belief – to become the strongest. In order to maintain the supremacy, it takes over all the other martial arts group and kill those refuse to yield themselves to it.

Yan Heng, a young swordman in Qingcheng, was saved by ‘Wudang Hunter' Jing Lie, who also lost his fellows because of Wudong. Being the only remnant of their groups, the two allied and start their journey of revenge.
