New Mazinger Z Anime Series
Giant Robo's Imagawa to direct remake of Nagai's Mazinger Z super robot anime series "Shin Mazinger Shōgeki! Z-Hen" which will be launched in April 2009.
The official website of the Akita Shoten publisher has revealed that Dynamic Pro, the studio of Mazinger Z robot manga creator Go Nagai, will launch the Shin Mazinger Zero series in the June issue of Champion RED magazine on April 18.

Cat Shit One
That's strange but cool, if you look the tone and style, it just look like MGS4, but they are cutes bunnies! This is a trailer of the anime series called Cat Shit One, or as it's known in the US ... Apocalypse Meow. Directed by Kazuya Sasahara (who you might know as the brains behind Bikini Samurai Squad).Japan's Studio Anima publicized its computer-animated adaptation of Motofumi Kobayashi's Cat Shit One manga at Tokyo International Anime Fair this week. ADV Manga released three volumes of the original Cat Shit One manga under the title Apocalypse Meow in North America. The manga follows three American soldiers — Bota, Perky and Rats — during the Vietnam War . The trio just happen to be cute animals in the Cat Shit One recon group.
The 12-episode anime series of "real and fierce combat by cute and fluffy animal" updates the manga's premise by making the three soldiers part of a modern private military company. In the first episode, the three attempt to rescue hostages, but end up surrounded by guerrillas demanding the withdrawal of United States Armed Forces in the area. (The original manga had an updated manga sequel with a similar premise called Cat Shit One '80.

Personally, I like the Asia version better, the taste and tone was being captured more correctly. This US is too X-file like and mystery, audience had already seen Astro face, why we need to hide him again?

Yona Yona Penguin is an animated film currently in production by the Japanese anime studio Madhouse and sister company Dynamo Pictures. It will be Madhouse's first fully 3D CGI film. Famed Madhouse staff director Rintaro, known for Galaxy Express 999 and Metropolis, will helm the project. French production company Denis Friedman Productions is collaborating on and helping fund the film. The characters was designed by Terra (寺田克也) Release in 2009?
A heart-warming tale of fantasy and adventure, as three children left on their own, find friendship and courage for the first time in their lives.

Monkey King
I hadn't seen this AD during the Olympic games, this is not bad, i like the character design.
When i see this Monkey king animation, it reminds me one thing interesting. I heard lots of people, studios, companies tried to make animation of Monkey King, seem this is the no.1 choice animation title for Chinese... However, the interesting phenomenon that they all failed for some reasons, i hope we can see one really good and success new Monkey King animation in the future.

EX Gohkin Getter Robo
This is one of the best robot redesign, i was inspired a lot from this designs set, it make the impossible fancy-transform to more believable. The mechanism is so awesome! There is the reprint version.
This is designed by Designed by Taku [ ROBO-SHI ] Sato (佐藤[ ロボ師] 拓). This is design just for Gohkin product, thats not for any show... i would like to see a TV series or movie like this.

Astroboy Anime Short With ravex’s Debut Album
The Daily Sports newspaper reports on Thursday that ravex, a new musical unit attached to the Avex label, will ship a special 18-minute Astro Boy (Tetsuwan Atom/Mighty Atom) anime short with its debut album, trax, at the end of April. Tezuka Production is collaborating on this anime based on the robot boy created by the studio's namesake, manga and anime pioneer Osamu Tezuka. The anime short will be on a special extra DVD bundled with the trax album. This anime short is separate from IMAGI's computer-animated feature film, which will open in North America in October.
