INKLING BY WACOM
"Wacom introduces Inkling, a new digital sketch pen that captures a digital likeness of your work while you sketch with its ballpoint tip on any sketchbook or standard piece of paper."
The Inkling Digital Pen was created by Wacom and can turn your “pen on paper” sketches into electronic, vector graphics. What we find truly amazing is that the design allows its users to sketch on any piece of paper! A small receiver attached to the sketch memorizes the data written by the digital pen, which can further be transfered into any computer. According to the producers, “in addition to capturing your sketch, stroke by stroke, Inkling allows you to create layers in digital files while you sketch on paper. Digital files are transferred to your computer using the Inkling Sketch Manager software, and later, exported to applications such as Adobe® Photoshop® and Illustrator®. Files can also be opened with the included Inkling Sketch Manager software to edit, delete, add layers or change file formats.” Seen on DVice, the innovative Inkling pen is perfect for registering rough concepts and sudden ideas, for both designers and architects.

Ceramic Skull Scupltures by katsuyo aoki
These elegant and decorative Ceramic Skull Sculptures are created by Japan artist katsuyo aoki (青木克世).
Artist's Statement
"Currently, I use ceramics as my material in my method of expression, incorporating various decorative styles, patterns, and symbolic forms as my principal axis in creating my works.
The decorative styles and forms I allude to and incorporate in my works each contain a story based on historical backgrounds and ideas, myths, and allegories. Their existence in the present age makes us feel many things,; adoration, some sort of romantic emotions, a sense of unfruitfulness and languor from their excessiveness and vulgarity.
And on the other hand, they make us feel tranquility and awe that can almost be described as religious, as well as an image as an object of worship.
By citing such images, I feel I am able to express an - atmosphere- that is a part of the complex world in this age.
In fact, the several decorative styles and forms I cite simultaneously hold divine and vulgar meaning in the present age, having an irrational quality that contradict each other, which I feel express an important aspect in the contemporary age in which we live.
Also, the technique of ceramics has a tradition that has been a part of the history of decoration over a long time, and I feel the delicateness and fragile tension of the substantial material well express my concept."

Sony Logo
The meaning behind the Sony Vaio logo...
"VAIO (/ˈvaɪ.oʊ/) is a sub-brand used for many of Sony‘s computer products.… The branding was created by Timothy Hanley to distinguish items that integrate consumer audio and video with conventional computing products… The VAIO logo also represents the integration of analog and digital technology with the ‘VA’ representing an analogwave and the ‘IO’ representing a digital binary code." Blood And Steel Manga English Version Online
Woww! I can't imagine that there is a English version of our Manga online, of course this is not an official authorized version... and there is only one chapter has been translated only....
It may not a bad thing for friends at oversea to have a preview before the official Emglish version launch. I am Not sure the translation is good for not, but I think they treat it pretty seriously (check the credit), please tell me if anyone read that. :P
