Frankenweenie - Official Trailer

Tim Burton's new feature film is coming! This is the remake of his 1984 animated short about a boy who reanimates his dead dog. Loaded with classic Burton style and dark humor, and out in time for Halloween. The film is scheduled for a premiere on October 5th, 2012 - featuring the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron, Conchata Ferrell, and directed by Tim Burton himself.



STORYLINE
"After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life -- with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous."

PLUG THe NeW WORLD (NISSAN×dwarf)

Plug, the New World promotes Nissan’s electric vehicles, which is the soft sell purpose of the commissioned film. The director of the short is Tsuneo Goda, who is best known as the creator of Domo, the poop-inspired mascot of Japanese broadcaster NHK-TV. There are lots of behind-the-scenes photos and making-of details on the website of Goda’s production company Dwarf.

Massive Stop-Motion Animation Gulp, Shot Entirely With Cellphone

Gulp. The world's largest stop-motion animation set, shot on a Nokia N8.

'Gulp' is a short film created by Sumo Science at Aardman, depicting a fisherman going about his daily catch. Shot on location at Pendine Beach in South Wales, every frame of this stop-motion animation was shot using a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. The film has broken a world record for the 'largest stop-motion animation set', with the largest scene stretching over 11,000 square feet.

Nokia 'Dot' - The "Smallest" Stop Motion Animation in the world
