[ 28 1/2 mouse no kyojin] The live action film and stage theatrical play are written and directed by Oshii Mamoru. Both were release few months agao, the box set DVD was also released in Sept.

This cool robot figure is created by Steve Talkowski. who is a character designer and animation director. He create the cool character SketchBot. This is his new custom made SketchBot: GigantorBot.

He run a SketchBot Custom Show recently at New York, you can find more information and see some artworks here.

NTT X Tetsujin 28 CM Episode 2

I introduced this NTT Docomo CM featuring Tetsujin 28 fortheir new product in my previous post, below is the episode 02, with Tetsujin 28 vs Black OX. The steampunk look of robots is pretty cool, however the animation is quite weak. Anyway, it is still awesome, check this out!

T28 Teaser Animation Test

Actually this is the bonus video on the T28 teaser website. I put it here to share with more people and actually I am not sure when the website will be removed.

T28 Teaser Characters

We uploaded The Tetsujin28 Teaser Website few months ago for audience comment and we collect a lot of positive feedback from international, as I checked the survey at 2 months a go, more than 80% vote that they want this movie to be made.
The website is still online, but I am not sure when will it be shut down. I love that project a lot. Here I captured the character images from the website (just in case the website disappear suddenly) I keep this for our memory.


I like Black OX redesign!



I do not satisfy with the human character design, as we reused and modified some of the existing asset to reduce cost... He turn out much more realistic than we expected, yes, he looks like a Harry Porter, this is one of idea on designing him. If I have chance, I will make him more stylize and less photo realistic.

A short TV commercial for NTT Docomo wireless internet featuring a modern interpretation of the Tetsujin 28 can be seen in NTT's stylish website. The website was very well design, you can find cool wall papers there. Nice AD! via: Anime News Network

Kobe Project WIP

The 18m Tetsujin 28 statute in Kobe is reported to be entering its last few stages of construction. the statue is at Wakamatsu Park (若松公園) in Shinnagata, Kobe (神戸 新長田). Almost there!
