Blood And Steel Manga English Version Online

Woww! I can't imagine that there is a English version of our Manga online, of course this is not an official authorized version... and there is only one chapter has been translated only....

It may not a bad thing for friends at oversea to have a preview before the official Emglish version launch. I am Not sure the translation is good for not, but I think they treat it pretty seriously (check the credit), please tell me if anyone read that. :P

Blood and Steel Plot
The story begins with an eradication of Qingcheng by a group of martial art fanatic from Wudong, whose master and disciples only has one belief – to become the strongest. In order to maintain the supremacy, it takes over all the other martial arts group and kill those refuse to yield themselves to it.

Yan Heng, a young swordman in Qingcheng, was saved by ‘Wudang Hunter' Jing Lie, who also lost his fellows because of Wudong. Being the only remnant of their groups, the two allied and start their journey of revenge.

Seems like more chapters are coming...

Unicorn Studios Interviews

Start from layout, sketch to inking including special gray tone effect, we do them all in computer... we minimize the wastage of paper. The production is pretty environment friendly.

Finally our comic is released!! The first chapters ( 34 pages) of our Graphic Novel is published at the New Youth Magazine today. There will be 2 more chapters come with the next 2 issue and then the Book One will release on 4 April. Cover featuring our hero characters.

小流氓: HK Comic in 60s

"小流氓" Little Rascals (later re-titled Oriental Heroes) is the first comic I read. It was very famous in 60s, created by Tony Wong ( Wong Yuk Long). Tony Wong created a very unique character look and become an icon of HK comic. For his contribution and influencing a generation of artists in the local industry, he is regarded as the "Godfather of Hong Kong comics" It inspired me a lot. See more his work and bios here. Sangre y Acero - ACG Project

I am not quite sure friends from oversea has seen this before or not.《Sangre Y Acero》(武道狂之詩 or Blood and Steel) is SUPER COOL novel in Hong Kong. This is my favorite novel which is written by my friend Jozev, a very talent creator who is a devoted practitioner of martial arts. His depth of personal experience is woven into the vivid depictions of fighting scenes which have become trademarks of his novels.

Set in the ancient Chinese martial arts world, Sanger Y Acero has redefined the modern Kung Fu novel, replacing conventional good-vs.-evil conflicts with a more interesting and complex world where characters are deeply ambivalent and the science of martial arts can be subverted by good as well as evil. Plots are advanced by shifting alliances, adversaries, and perspectives.

TBS 11th Digicon 6

Create your Dreams!
I was invited by 11th TBS DigiCon6 as a HK representative to give a speech to introduce AstroBoy, I talked about some of making of and development of AstroBoy design. This is really a great trip which is totally out of my expectation. I learned a lit and meet some friends. TBS DigiCon6 is an annual animation competition for Asia organized by Japanese TV. Their goal is to invites digital content creators, both professional and amateur, to create their original work. that we have to support! This year they got 2741 submitted animation works from 8 regions on Asia includes: Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia & Korea. It is very encouraging that 2 Hong Kong animation won the Encouragement Award this year and actually Hong Kong won the grand prize last year.


At the forum, each region talked about the animation development and how the government support, I felt so shame that our government gave the least support compared with other regions...
